Putuka is a brand of t-shirts that began to take shape in late 2001 (it seems incredible that has been so long already), founded by a group of designers, and above all friends, fans of music, film and art in general applied to clothing, whom their most wanted dream was to wear t-shirts that nobody else seemed to make at that time, provocative and transgressive (someday we will tell you the story of when our manufacturer refused to produce one of our designs due he consider it offensive).

We always try to remain faithful to our particular philosophy that believes that our designs are completed when someone wears them, because we have always believed that fashion is created by people who adapt and combine clothes by their own style (and we still believe it). Fashion does not arise from any guru’s brain, or from the sewing factory of any Italian super brand, fashion is created by people every day...

The reason we embarked on this adventure has a simple answer: Who has not ever wanted to design their own t-shirts?, that idea brilliant, funny, or that simply reflected our mood, our personal opinion on some actuality (or not) topic, our filias, and our phobias. For us, T-shirts have always had a communicative aspect, a way of expression that can dress, and that speaks a lot about the person doing it. Our messages have not always been delicate and subtle, often limits we have sought to draw attention and even create controversy, in short the Punk resurrection the spirit of "do it yourself”, and not be ashamed of the final result, the important thing is to do things, get involved, get your voice heard and express your ideas, not everything need to be perfect and brilliant.
